Carol Lea Carden Fitzhugh: Loris

    Carol Lea Carden Fitzhugh of Loris, age 65, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach after a sudden illness. She was 65.
    Born on July 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Oaften Edgar Carden and the late Mrs. Sarah Frances Whitt Carden.
    Survivors include her husband, Edward Noel Wachter of the home; two brothers, Kenneth “Kenny” Carden of Baltimore, Md., and Eddie Carden of West Virginia; two sisters, Wanda Schmidt and Deborah Greenfelder, both of Baltimore, Md.
    Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel.
