Mazie “Peggy” Fowler: Tabor City

    Mazie “Peggy” Fowler of Tabor City died Thursday, Sept. 19 in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 70.
     Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. Long and Estelle Barefoot Long and was the widow of the late Horace Eugene Fowler.
    She is survived by two sons, Greg Fowler and Jeff Fowler both of Tabor City; one daughter, Cheryl Seals of Loris; three sisters, Hazel Nance of Whiteville, Velma Hilburn of Whiteville, and Janice Davis of Nakina; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one grandchild.   
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20 in the Inman Funeral Home.
    Graveside services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in the Fowler Hilbourn Cemetery, Tabor City.
