Hassie Mae Cobbler Wease: Loris
Hassie Mae Cobbler Wease of Loris, age 79, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Loris Extended Care Center. She was 79.
Mrs. Wease was born on Dec. 19, 1933 in Ellerbe, to the late Roy Elmer Cobbler and the late Covie Etta Culler Cobbler. Survivors include her special friend, Jack McFeely of Loris; her son, Baxter Lockhart of Charlotte; her daughter, Wandra Lockhart Wade of Hillsborough; three grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, and step-mother Jean Cobbler Hawn of Harriman, Tenn.
Mrs. Wease was predeceased by her parents and her first husband, Dwight R. Lockhart and her second husband, Odus Max Wease.
The family would like to recognize all the hard work, love and support that Miss Hassie received from family and friends, ALL the staff of Loris Extended Care, Regency Hospice and Dr. Harkin.
Entombment services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens in Little River with Rev. Joe Turner and Rev. Kenneth Chatman officiating.
