Mary Cribb Richardson: Loris

Mary Ellen Cribb Richardson of Loris passed away Monday, Oct. 14 at Conway Medical Center following an illness. She was 86.
Mrs. Richardson was born on Aug. 23, 1927 to William Warren Cribb and Bertha Ida Cribb. Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister.
Survivors include her son, David Richardson and wife, Louise of Loris; three daughters, Norma Bazen and husband, J.D. and Brenda Watts and husband, Walter all of Conway, and Shirley Gause of Aynor; one brother, Harry Cribb and wife, Zelda of Galivants Ferry; one sister, Elnita Pridgen of Loris; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Richardson was predeceased by her parents; her husband, McKinley Cleveland Richardson; three children, Ralph Richardson, Kenneth Richardson and Willa G. Richardson Edwards; two brothers, Mitchell and Grady Cribb and five sisters, Geneva Miller, Virginia Tyler, Anner Council, Margaret Cooper and Velma Barnhill.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Committal services followed in Princeville Cemetery.
