Yam display champs

    Tabor City Baptist Church Day Care (top photo) won the outdoor display in the North Carolina Yam Festival Merchant Display Contest for 2013 with its Yam Bowl football theme, while Ooh La La! took storefront honors with “Yam Dynasty.” Day Care students posed with their winning entry, and the winning plaque from the sponsoring Greater Tabor City Chamber of Commerce.
