Murdock Buffkin: Tabor City

    Murdock Buffkin of Tabor City died on Saturday, Nov. 9, at his home. He was 72.
    Born in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Burnie and Mabel Waddell Buffkin. He is survived his wife Ida Allen Buffkin of the home, two sons, Kelvin Buffkin of Tabor City and James Murdock Buffkin of Charlotte; and one sister, Judy Floyd of Aynor. He was preceded in death by a son, Leslie Allen Buffkin.
    Graveside services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in Gapway Cemetery.
    Family planned to receive friends following the service at the graveside.
