Vera Lee Tedford: Tabor City
Vera Lee Tedford of Tabor City died Tuesday, Nov. 12, in her home. She was 76.
Born in Tabor City, she was the daughter of the late Henry Clifton Spivey and Viola Norris Spivey. She was preceded in death by sister, Debbie Spivey. She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Sellars and of Tabor City and Tammy Gore of Nakina; five sons, Rodney Martin and Ricky Long of Tabor City, Danny Long of Georgetown, Paul Eugene Long of Fairfax, and Terry Long of Rocky Mount, Va.; two brothers, Alan Spivey and Edward Spivey of Tabor City; a sister, Connie Stephens of Tabor City; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grand children. She was a member of Lighthouse Christian Church of Tabor City.
Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, at Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.
Funeral Services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 in the Inman Funeral Home Chapel in Tabor City, with burial to follow in Sandy Plain Church Cemetery.
