Annie Belle Hardee: Loris

    Annie Belle Osborne Landes Hardee of Loris  passed away Dec. 4 at Agape Senior Rehabilitation in Conway following an illness. She was 82.
     Born on March 9, 1931 in Conway she was the daughter of the late Mr. Sampson Corbet Osborne and Mrs. Leila Faircloth Osborne.  Mrs. Hardee worked at Conway Hospital for ten years, with SMA for seven years and retired from Loris Hospital after 17 years of service.  She was a longtime active member of Buck Creek Baptist Church but will be most remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
    Survivors include her son, Dennis Landes and his wife, Anna of Conway; one grandson, Paul Landes and wife, Susan of Gilbert, Ariz.; two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Savanna Landes of Gilbert, Ariz.; one brother, Jimmy Osborne and wife, Shahnaz of Hope Mills and four sisters, Velda Lane of Fayetteville, Frances Richardson of Galivants Ferry, Mable McManus and husband, Richard of Birmingham, Ala., and Linda Jones and husband, Larry of Charleston.
    The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to Dr. Andrew Sejan and her family within the Buck Creek community for their care and concern throughout Mrs. Hardee’s life.
    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardee was predeceased by her first husband, John R. Landes; her second husband of forty years, Ralph Julian Hardee; four brothers, Edward, Marion, Johnnie and Joseph Osborne and three sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Peggy Tigen and Carol Hogan.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at Buck Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Allen officiating. Committal services followed at Buck Creek Cemetery.
