Myrtice Buffkin: Wilmington

    Myrtice Buffkin died Wednesday, Dec. 25, in Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Wilmington. She was 74.
    She was the daughter of the late Joe Oscar Boswell and Carrie Sikes Boswell. She is survived by three daughters, Carol Boswell of Wilmington, Donna Buffkin of Loris, and Phyllis Tyner of Tabor City; a son, Darrell Buffkin of Tabor City;  a brother, HC Boswell of Boiling Springs;  a sister, Geraldine Allen of Tabor City; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Buffkin Miller.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27 in Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.
    A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28 in the Spivey Cemetery in Tabor City.
