John Woodrow Butler: Loris

    John Woodrow Butler of Loris passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following an illness. He was 68.
    Born Nov. 7, 1945 in Conway, he was the son of Victor Bray Butler and Josie Stanley Marlowe Butler. 
    Mr. Butler worked at Lynn’s Auto Parts for 37 years and was a member of Camp Swamp United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Brenda Williamson Butler of the home and one sister, Ann Butler Bond of Mt. Pleasant.
    In addition to his parents, Mr. Butler was predeceased by his brother, Vernon Harris Butler and two sisters, Lunette Marlowe Sanderson and Lillian Marlowe Andrews.
    A memorial services was planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at Camp Swamp United Methodist Church.
    The family planned to receive friends in the church following the service.
