Ralph Floyd: Loris
Ralph Floyd of Loris went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 25 at Regency Hospital in Florence. He was 75.
Born on Dec. 31, 1937 in Loris, he was the son of Sam Fulton Floyd and Edna Mae Grainger Floyd.
Mr. Floyd was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Mike Floyd and Harless Floyd, both of Loris; his five sisters, Geraldine Suggs of Loris, Dorothy Kitchell of Tallahatchie, Calif., Shelby Bonds of Lexington, SC, Wanda Norman of Wilmington, and Fredia T. Jones of Lugoff, SC.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Floyd was predeceased by four brothers, Leo, Norman, Wilbur and Joe Floyd.
Visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris.
Graveside services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Watts officiating.
