Retha Bell Cartrette: Loris
Retha Bell Cartrette of Loris died Friday, Jan. 3, in the Kingston Nursing Center in Conway. She was 91.
She was the daughter of the late Jessie Ardell Sellers and Lettie Mae Smith Sellers. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Alice Phillips and Judy C. Watts; two sons, David Henry Cartrette and Billy Cartrette; two brothers, Blanco Sellers and Jack Sellers; a sister, Sally Stevenson; two grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Rose Cartrette Powell of Loris; a sister, Allie Hardwick of Conway; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5 in Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, in Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City, with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
