Carrie Hardie: Beaverdam

    Carrie Jane Hardie of the Beaverdam Community, Chadbourn, died on Friday, Dec. 10, at Shoreland Nursing Center in Whiteville. She was 66.
    She was born in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Benjamin Hinson and Connie Norris Hinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Hardie; a brother, Charles Hinson; and a sister, Margaret Rose Hazelwood.
    She is survived by one son, Anthony Lynn Hardie of Chadbourn; three brothers, Benjamin Samuel Hinson of Clarendon, Joseph Hinson of Chadbourn, and Brooks Hinson of Chadbourn; one sister, Shirley Nealy of Chadbourn; and three grandchildren.
    ??A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn.
