Daniel Lorenza Ganus: Tabor City

    Daniel Lorenza “Randy” Ganus Jr., of Whiteville died Thursday, Jan. 16 in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. He was 62.
    Born in Columbus County, he was the son of Emma Lou Suggs Ganus of Tabor City and the late Daniel Lorenza Ganus.
     In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lorenza Ganus III; and a brother, Terry Wayne Ganus.
    Survivors, including his mother, are his wife, Mary Ester Formyduval Ganus of Whiteville; two daughters, Stacy Lynn Ganus of Nakina and Jessica Overby of Whiteville; one son, Kenneth Faulk of Charleston; one brother: Chris Ganus of Nakina; one sister, Renita Whaley of Nakina; and two grandchildren.
    Funeral services will planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 in the Happy Home Baptist Church in Nakina, with burial following in the Happy Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
    Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Happy Home Baptist Church.
