Ellen Pal-oy Strickland: Tabor City

    Ellen Pal-oy Strickland of Tabor City died Friday, Jan. 17 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center in Whiteville. She was 63.
     Born in the Philippines, she was the of the late Felipe Pal-oy and Lucia Doligan  Pal-oy.  
     She is survived by a daughter, Eden T. Rhodes and husband Aaron of Green Sea; four brothers, Herminio Pal-oy, Teofilo Pal-oy, Bernie Pal-oy, and Jelson Pal-oy, all of the Philippines; one sister: Jacklyn Pal-oy of Saudi Arabia; three grandchildren, Chase Rhodes, Elena Rhodes, and Ty Rhodes.
    She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Loris.
   Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19 in Trinity Baptist Church in Loris, with burial following in the Green Sea Cemetery in Green Sea.  
    Visitation was planned for one hour prior to the service in Trinity Baptist Church in Loris.
