Major Jason Worley: Tabor City

    Major Jason Worley died Friday, Jan. 17, in his home in Tabor City. He was 65.
    Born in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Troy Worley and Edna Norris Worley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Maycelyn Worley.
    He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Duncan Worley of Tabor City; two sons, Kevin Jason Worley of Tabor City and Craig A. Worley and wife Crystal of Tabor City; one daughter, Jacelyn Worley Barnhill and husband Danny of Tabor City; two brothers, Morris Worley of Tabor City and Edward Worley of Chadbourn; one sister, Mary Lou Ward of Loris; seven grandchildren, Preston Worley, Dalton Worley, Reagan Worley, Landon Worley, Nickolas Barnhill, Mason Worley, and Chance Barnhill.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, in Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, in Westside Baptist Church in Tabor City, with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
