Ruby Lee Cox: Loris

    Ruby Lee Cox of Loris passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22. She was 88.
    Mrs. Cox was born in Bladen County, a daughter of the last George Russ and the late Susan Jane McLamb Russ. She was predeceased by one son, Leonard Cox, and one daughter, Gloria Williams.
    Survivors include her husband of 73 years, J. D. Cox of Loris; a son, Ronnie Cox of Loris; three daughters, Irene Grainger of Conway, Lauretta Smith of Tabor City, and Janice Johnson of Loris; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, from the Mausoleum Chapel at Twin City Memorial Gardens with Rev. J. T. Adams officiating.
    The family planned to receive friends in the Mausoleum Chapel during the hour before the service.
