Lois Hardee: Tabor City

    Lois Gordon Hardee of Tabor City died Monday, Feb. 10 in McLeod Loris hospital in Loris. She was 95.
    Born in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Gordon and Ellen Collins Gordon.  
    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Hiram Hardee; one brother, Clarence Gordon; two sisters, Thelma Gore and Grace Pace.
    She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Hardee Bullard and husband Jerry of Tabor City; one son, Richard L. Hardee and wife Mary Cox of West End; four grandchildren, Kevin Bullard and wife Beth of Whiteville, Melissa Bullard White and husband Jason of Longs, Lindsay Bullard Worley of Tabor City, Scott Hardee and wife Erin of Concord; eight great grandchildren, Haley Bullard Cox and husband Brandon of Green Sea, Jake and Andrew Bullard of Whiteville, Dalton and Landon Worley of Tabor City, Rivers and Macy White of Longs, CJ Hardee of Concord; Two great-great grandchildren, Maddox Brandon and Tatum Abe Cox, both of Green Sea; and many other special family members.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11 in Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City.  
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 in the Tabor City Baptist Church, Tabor City, with burial following in Twin City Mausoleum in Loris.
    UPDATE: Funeral services for Lois Hardee were rescheduled due to Wednesdays winter storm, planned now for 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, in Tabor City Baptist Church, with interment following in Twin City Mausoleum.
