Firefighter’s death ruled line of duty

A line-of-duty death benefit has been awarded to the widow of Loris Fire Department Assistant Chief Rodney Hardee.
Donella Hardee received the $25,000 check at the Loris Pubic Safety Building Tuesday evening. A representative of the South Carolina State Firefighter’s Association made the presentation.
