David Kevin Roberts: Loris

    David Kevin Roberts of Loris passed away Wednesday, April 16 at McLeod Loris hospital following an illness. He was 50.
    Born on June 14, 1963 in Myrtle Beach, he was the son of Mr. Thomas Daniel Roberts, Sr. and Mrs. Minnie Ann Lewis Roberts.
    Mr. Roberts worked as a contractor and attended Mt. Hebron Church. A self-taught musician, Mr. Roberts could play a variety of instruments but especially loved to play the guitar in church.
    Survivors, including his parents of Loris are a son, Joshua Roberts, of Johnsonville; two daughters, Erica Cannon of Sumter, and Hannah Roberts of Johnsonville; three grandchildren, Airlea Jordan, Brooklyn Cannon, and Keelie Cannon; and a brother, Thomas D. Roberts, Jr. and wife, Sheila of Tabor City.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ross Altman officiating. Committal services followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
