Billie Jack Hardee: Loris
Billie Jack Hardee of Loris passed away Tuesday, April 29 at Conway Manor following an illness. He was 79.
Mr. Hardee was born March 11, 1935 in Loris, son of Mr. Samuel Gorum Hardee and Mrs. Addie Cox Hardee.
Mr. Hardee served his country with honor and courage in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He was a longtime member of Oak Dale Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Hardee, of the home; son, Rikki Hardee of Loris; one grandchild, Blaze Ryder Williamson of Loris, and four sisters, Verlyn Causey of Nichols, Aundrea Faye Reyes of Grover Port, Ohio, Ann Hardee and Sylva Kaye Shelley, both of Loris.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hardee was predeceased by his sister, Jewel Gore.
Graveside services with military honors was planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at Oak Dale Cemetery with Pastor W.P. McLeod officiating.
