Alice Fonvielle: Tabor City

    Alice Wynn Kelly Fonvielle died Thursday, May 1 in her home in Tabor City. She was 69.
     Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late F.O. Kelly and Mary Alice Jackson Kelly.  
    She is survived by her husband, Carlton Monroe “Buddy” Fonvielle of the home; daughter, Kelly Wynn F. Miller and husband Warren of Tabor City; son, Carlton Hunter and wife Monica of Tabor City; one brother, Wister O. Jackson of Lansing; a sister, Mary Louise Taylor of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Mason Miller, Gracelyn Fonvielle, Caleb Fonvielle, Zack Fonvielle.
    Mrs. Fonvielle was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was a retired school teacher of 26 years.      
    Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4 in St. Paul United Methodist Church, Tabor City, with burial following in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
    The family planned to receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
