An armed robbery arrest in Loris Friday morning included support from the Horry County Police Department SWAT Team, a presence on Elm Street that slowed on Broad Street to a crawl.
Jaleen Walters was taken into custody as the Loris Police Department executed a search warrant on an apartment at 4188 Elm Street, LPD Chief Joseph Vault said. A warrant has also been obtained for Rasheem Grant, 20, already jailed at J. Reuben Long Detention Center near Conway on drug charges. Vaught said the warrant on Grant will be served later today.
Both Walters and Grant are accused in an April 11 armed robbery on Railroad Avenue.
