James “Jimmy” Ronald Cox: Loris
James “Jimmy” Ronald Cox of Loris passed away at his home following an illness. He was 65.
Mr. Cox was born on Feb. 16, 1949 in Loris, the son of the late Mr. Kenneth W. Cox, Sr. and the late Mrs. Nina Ree West Cox.
Mr. Cox worked for 30 years in sales at Carolina Furniture Company, was a former owner of Sears in Loris and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his two sons, Jimmy Darrell Cox and wife, Carla of Loris, and Ronnie Cox and wife, Traci of Garden City; their mother, Wanda Cox of Loris; four grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, Zack and Payton; two brothers, Kenneth W. Cox, Jr. of Wilmington, and Stephen B. Cox and wife, Teresa of Little River; and two sisters, Diane Cox Martin and husband, Danny and Terri Cox Jordan and husband, Myron, all of Loris.
A memorial service was planned for noon on Saturday, June 28, at his home.
