Kayla Michelle Simmons: Tabor City

    Kayla Michelle Simmons of Tabor City died Friday, June 20, at Conway Medical Center, Conway. She was 26.
    She is survived by a daughter, Victoria Delane Best of the home; her parents, Rhonda and Wyatt O. Morgan of Cerro Gordo and Michael Edwin Simmons of Tabor City; a sister, Kasey Simmons of Chadbourn; step-sister, Turner J. Simmon of Tabor City; maternal grandmother, Betty Hutto Kinlaw of Chadbourn; paternal grandmother, Susie Sproul of Myrtle Beach.
    She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Layton Kinlaw and her paternal grandfather, Paul Simmons.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Worthington Funeral Home, Chadbourn.
    A graveside service was planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Neill Smith officiating.
