John Douglas McKvian: Tabor City

    John Douglas McKvian of Tabor City died June 19 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCenter. He was 64.
    He was the son of the late Sam and Annie Lee McKvian.
    He is survived by his daughters, Alfreda McKvian and LaCretia Gore, Annie V. McKvian, Waitus Smith, Mablene Graham; sisters, Deborah Fernandez, Evelyn Bellamy; brothers, Willie James McKvian, Joe Brooks McKvian, Fredrick McKvian and Marcus McKvian.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Little Iron Hill Baptist Church, Tabor City with Rev. Leon Dockery officiating, and burial following in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery.
