David Everett Blanton III: Loris

    David Everett “Tater” Blanton, III, age 25, passed away Wednesday, June 25, in Loris. He was 25.
    Born March 27, 1989 in Myrtle Beach, he was the son of Phyllis Stevens Long of Loris and the late David Everett “Peanut” Blanton II.
    Survivors, including his mother of Loris, are his three children, Kadence, Jasmine and Tristen Blanton and their mother, Jessica Youngblood all of Conway; his stepfather, Larry Long of Loris; his maternal grandmother, Mildred Stevens of Conway; two brothers, Chad Everette Blanton of Loris, and Scotty Fowler and his wife, April of Conway; his sister, Regina Fowler of Conway, and many loving nieces and nephews.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 30, at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris, and one hour prior to the funeral.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel, with committal services following at Stevens Cemetery, officiated by Rev. David Watts, Rev. Dan Scott and Rev. Mack Hutson.
