Virginia Buffkin: Tabor City

     Virginia Buffkin of Tabor City died Wednesday, July 16, in her home. She was 82.
     She was born Oct. 25, 1931 in Horry County, to the late Rosevelt and Olla Johnson Watts.
    She was predeceased by her spouses, Gummery Buffkin and Beamon Buffkin; one son, Michael Dean Buffkin; one daughter, Ila Virginia Buffkin.
    She is survived by four sons, Jerry Lee Buffkin of Tabor City, Allison Leon Buffkin of South Port, Michael Wayne Buffkin of Tabor City, Bocephous Beamon Buffkin of Tabor City; one daughter, Alesa Buffkin Faircloth of Tabor City; one brother, Roosevelt “Tony” Watts of Sophia; one stepdaughter, Brenda Buffkin Lee; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 18 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel of Tabor City, with burial following in the Gapway Cemetery near Tabor City.
