William Burris Phillips: Tabor City

    William Burris Phillips of Tabor City died Friday, July 18. He was 66. 
     He was born Oct. 24, 1947 in Columbus County to the late William Henry and Effie Cornellia Ward Phillips.
    He is survived by five brothers, Richard Phillips, Mitchell Phillips, Tiny Phillips, Bo Phillips, Alfred Phillips, all of Tabor City; three sisters, Linda Haven Beasley, Melva Nealey, Wannell Ward, all of Tabor City.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, July 20 in Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.   
    Funeral Services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, July 21 in the Tabor City Holiness Tabernacle, with burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
