Jiggs Waddell: Loris

    Jiggs Waddell of Loris died Wednesday, July 23 in Tideland Community Hospice Center, Georgetown. He was 79.
     He was born Aug. 21, 1934 in Columbus County to the late Rozier and Irene Soles Waddell.  
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Waddell and Randy Waddell; one step daughter: Cindy Todd.
    He is survived by his wife, Mildred Small Waddell of the home; three special children: Chad McDowell, Gavin McDowell, Tristian McDowell; one step daughter, June McDowell Vaught (Steve); one step son-in-law: Wallace Todd; three step grandchildren, Lauren Todd, Justin Todd, Kandis Todd Tucker (Sam); two brothers, Mike Waddell of Tabor City, Tony Waddell of Rock Hill; two sisters, Joy Klutts of Charlotte, Iris Todd of High Point; and his great extended family that loved him very much.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 25, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
    A  memorial service was planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26 in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
