Lillian Faustina Williamson, Whiteville

Lillian Faustina Williamson of Whiteville age 78 died Saturday, Aug. 30, in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 80.
Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late John Graddy Cox and Mary Caroline Gore Cox. She was the widow of Jimmy O’Neil Williamson.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Wallace “Wally” Williams, a brother, LB Cox, and a sister, Ruby Cox.
She is survived by a son, Joe Neil Williamson and wife Angela of Whiteville; a daughter, Latina Ann Williams of Whiteville; a brother, Don Cox of Loris; a sister, Mavis Coleman of Tabor City; five grandchildren, Tracy Williams, Amber Williamson, Jenni Williamson, Bryant Fowler, Amanda Cox, two great grandchildren, Taegan Lovette and Briggs Strickland.
Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
