Raymond McCoy Fowler: Tabor City

    Raymond McCoy Fowler, Sr. of Tabor City died Monday, Sept. 8 in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach. He was 57.
    He was born Nov. 17, 1956 in Hampton, Virginia, to Shirley Smith Fowler and the late Arnold Fowler.  
    In addition to his mother Shirley Fowler of Tabor City, he is survived by his wife, Diana Prince Fowler; two sons, Randy McPherson of Whiteville and Raymond McCoy Fowler, Jr. of Tabor City; one daughter, Brandy Nichole Fowler of Whiteville; two brothers, Thomas Edward Fowler, Kenneth James Fowler, both of New Port News, Virginia; two sisters, Sherry Lynn Cartwright and Deborah Ann King, both of Newport News, Virginia; and five grandchildren.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12 in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, with burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
