Robert Coleman: Clarendon
Robert Coleman age 81 died Wednesday, Sept. 17, in McLeod Loris hospital. He was 81.
He was born April 8, 1933 in Fair Bluff to the late Agrippa and Sarah Bell Watts Coleman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, JD Coleman and Buck Coleman; four sisters, Alice Wilson, Dorothy Anderson, Vastie Donahue, and Arlene Weaver.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maelene Fowler Coleman of the home; three sons, Jason Coleman (Donna) of Tabor City, Robert “Bobby” Brian Coleman and Danny Long of the home; three daughters, Cindy Thompson (George) of Clarendon, Wanda Lowery (Ronnie) of Whiteville, Ann Batten (Welton) of Cerro Gordo; two sisters, Lorene Pait of Lexington, Betty Blackburn of Clarendon; 11 grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, in Inman Ward Funeral Home in Tabor City.
Funeral Services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, with burial following in Smith Family Cemetery, Clarendon.
