James Liston Mishoe: Thomasville

    James Liston Mishoe of Thomasville passed away at his residence Thursday, Sept. 25. He was 84.
     He was born Aug. 27, 1930 in Horry County, to Manning Monroe Mishoe and Sammy Mishoe. 
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther Aleen Barnhill Mishoe; two daughters, Mary Ann Richardson and Rebecca G. Mishoe; three sisters, Lorraine Singletary, Maggie Carter, and Callie Gainus; two brothers, Monroe Mishoe and John Mishoe; two grandchildren; and one great grandson. 
     Surviving are three daughters, Sarah Ann Boyette of Trinity and Esther Mishoe Carlyle, both of Trinity, and Janet Carter of Rock Hill; three sons, John Paul Richardson of Thomasville, James Manning Mishoe of Lexington, and Robert Edward Mishoe of Asheboro; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at J.C. Green and Sons funeral home in Thomasville.
    Graveside services was planned for 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29 at Cherry Hill Cemetery in Loris with Rev. Henry King officiating. 
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292.
