Frank Sutherland: Loris

    Frank Sutherland of Loris passed away Saturday, Oct. 4 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following an illness. He was 85.
    Born on Dec. 17, 1928 in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of Mr. Floyd Sutherland and Mrs. Flossie Keeney Sutherland. Mr. Sutherland was the retired owner of Sutherland Floor Sanding and a longtime member of the Loris First United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Pat Sutherland of the home; his daughter, Deborah Sue Kastelic of Louisville, Kentucky; two sons, Frank Sutherland of Powell, Ohio and Joseph Allen Sutherland of Loris; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Sutherland of Leroy, West Virginia.
    In addition to his parents, Mr. Sutherland was predeceased by four brothers, John, Dick, Dan and David Sutherland; and four sisters, Ruth Basham, Carolyn Gregory, JoAnn Richardson and Betty Lou Sutherland.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris. Graveside services were planned for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Barlow Central Cemetery in Barlow, Ohio.
