Samuel Horace Faircloth: Loris

    Samuel Horace Faircloth of Loris passed away Saturday, October 18 at Agape Rehabilitation in Conway following an illness. He was 79.
    He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Harry F. Faircloth and the late Allene Hardwick Faircloth. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Elaine Faircloth; two brothers, Lorentus Faircloth and his wife Hilda Faircloth, and Wendell Faircloth; and one sister, Rachelle Resca.
    He was owner of Four-Way Kartway, was a US Navy Veteran and member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
    Surviving are his children, Bobby Lynn Faircloth and Pamela Denise O’Riley; sisters Vernell Harrelson, Freddie Triplett, Betty Stocks, and Sharon Todd; a brother, Larry Faircloth; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, in Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
    Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Mack Hutson officiating, burial following in New Home Cemetery.
