Jack B. Jernigan: Green Sea

     Jack Benson Jernigan of Green Sea died Tuesday, Oct. 21 in Loris Extended Care Center, Loris. He was 79.
    Born in Horry County, he was the son of the late Sam Jernigan and Sarah Alford Jernigan.
    He is survived by his wife, Shelby J. Jernigan of the home; a son, Ronnie Dale Jernigan of Hawaii; two daughters, Cynthia Carroll of Surfside Beach and Jackie Cain of Green Sea; a sister, Mildred Hughes of Aynor; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
     Mr. Jernigan was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Jernigan.   
    Graveside services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 in the Carolina Church Cemetery, Green Sea.
