Mildred Watts Fowler: Loris
Mildred Watts Fowler of Loris died Saturday, Nov. 15, in her home. She was 82.
She was the daughter of the late Levy Ottiwell Watts and Evelyn Soles Watts.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Grainger of Loris; two sons, Vernie Fowler and William Fowler, both of Loris; three brothers, Winston “Pee Wee” Watts and Billy Watts of Loris, Randy Watts of Tabor City; two sisters, Aline Rogers of Loris and Diane Watts of Loris; 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Alfred Fowler; three children, Lavern Fowler, Larry Fowler and Joel Fowler; one sister, Florine Stevens; three brothers, Norman Watts, Levi “Ham” Watts, and Lynwood “Rawhide” Watts.
Visitation will planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel in Tabor City, with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
