Nedra Strickland Hardee: Loris

    Nedra Strickland Hardee of Loris entered into eternal rest Friday, Nov. 21. She was 82.
    Mrs. Hardee was born Sept. 24, 1932 in Conway, a daughter of the late Carlton F. Strickland and the late Ruby Jane Edwards Strickland. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and a homemaker.
    Mrs. Hardee was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Franklin Hardee and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Hardee.
    Survivors include two sons, Ernest Dale Hardee and his wife Sheryl and John Franklin Hardee and his special friend Stephanie Martin, all of Loris; three daughters, Lyndia H. Jones and her husband R.I. “Johnny” of Longs, Dianne H. Graham and her husband Randal of Loris, and Nancy H. Knight and her husband Wayne of Harleyville; eleven grandchildren, Melissa English of North Myrtle Beach, Gene D. Williams (Summer) of Longs, April Shanks (Brock) of Thomasville, NC, Patricia Richardson (Phillip) of Galivants Ferry, Crystal Gore (special friend David Jenkins) of Myrtle Beach, Patrick Beall (Heather) of Conway, Anthony Hardee of Loris, Christopher Knight ( Sheena) of Goose Creek, Richard Knight ( Makiko) of Japan, Krista Knight of Harleyville, and Santana Hardee (special friend Casey Brinson) of Chadbourn, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Agnes Soles and Ruby Lee Watts both of Tabor City.
    Visitation was planned from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Goldfinch Funeral Home of Loris and at other times at the residence.
    The funeral service was planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Mark Slomka officiating and burial following in Patterson Cemetery.
