Sallie Marie Moore Loveland: Nichols
Sallie Marie Moore Loveland passed away Monday, Dec. 1, at her home in Nichols. She was 69.
She born in Savannah, Georgia, the daughter of the late John Pearly Moore and the late Cottie Anderson Moore. She was a graduate of Winthrop University and a member of the Spring Branch Baptist Church.
She worked 28 years for the State of South Carolina, both for the Clemson Extension Service and the Horry County School System. During her tenure with the school system she founded the now well-established Culinary Arts program at the Academy for Technology and Academics in Conway.
Survivors include three sons, Scott Moore Loveland and Patrick Gray Loveland of Charleston, Christopher Daniel Loveland of Lexington; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
Funeral services were planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Spring Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Vipperman officiating, burial following in Spring Branch Cemetery.
