Lottie Williams Adams: Longs
Lottie Williams Adams of Longs passed away Thursday, Dec. 4. She was 100.
Mrs. Adams was born in Conway a daughter of the late Rev. William “Berry” Williams and the late Sallie Todd Williams.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Quincey “Quince” Adams; three sisters, Ernie W. Faircloth, Velma “Ted” W. Causey, and Ollene W. Holmes; five brothers, George P. Williams, Dewey M. Williams, James Ausby Williams, F. J. Williams, and Rev. Bill Williams and a very special niece Diane T. Holmes.
Survivors include a special nephew, W. L. Holmes of Longs; a special niece, Robin Tompkins of Conway; one sister, Pauline W. Tompkins of Conway; one brother, W. A.”Junior” Williams, Jr. of Conway; a special great nephew, Jamie W. Holmes and his wife Ashley of Longs; a special great niece, Amy H. Richardson and her husband Bryan of Conway; and many other nieces and nephews. Mr. and Mrs. Adams were “Uncle Quince” and “Aunt Lottie” to so many not mentioned here and will always be. She will remain in all of our hearts and she loved you all.
Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Williams, Rev. Dennis Williams, and Rev. Larry Sawyer officiating, burial following in the Edge Cemetery.
