    Sure, some other parts of the country would bask in the temperature recorded on a downtown Tabor City bank sign about 6 a.m. today, it’s a bitter wind blowing in the Tabor-Loris Community.
    Columbus County Schools are opening for students at 10 a.m. today as a result. Horry County Schools are on a regular schedule, but officials have cancelled all outdoor activities for the day.
    Temperatures appear unlike to reach the freezing mark in the area today, but should be some 15 degrees warmer on Friday.
