Lucille Stevens Hardee: Loris

    Lucille Stevens Hardee of Loris, age 84, passed away Thursday, Jan. 8 at Magnolia Extended Care in Myrtle Beach following an illness. She was 84.
    Mrs. Hardee was born on Feb. 19, 1930 in Loris, a daughter of the Buren Stevens and the late Eulyn Russ Stevens.
    Mrs. Hardee was a retired bookkeeper for Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company and a member of Mt. Hebron Church.
     Survivors include her three daughters, Janet H. Waldorf and husband, Jimmy of Myrtle Beach, Chrystal H. Wright and June Davidson both of Loris; two sons, Andrew “Andy” Hamp Hardee, Jr. and wife, Pat of Kure Beach, and Chadwick “Chad” Hardee and wife, Martha of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Douglas E. Stevens and wife, Nelda of Loris; one sister, Paulene Knutson of Loris; a brother-in-law, Jack Hardee of Conway, and many loving grand and great-grandchildren.
     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardee was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Hamp Hardee Sr.; a daughter, Ruth Hardee Prince and two brothers and two sisters.
     Funeral services were planned for 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ray Thomas officiating, with committal services following at Stevens Cemetery. Visitation was planned for one hour prior to services at Hardwick Funeral Home.
