Geraldine Arnette Fowler: Newport News, Va.

    Geraldine Arnette Fowler of Newport News, Virignia, died Saturday, Jan. 10. She was 83.
    Born in Horry County, she had been a longtime resident of the Peninsula and member of Liberty Baptist Church, Hampton, Virginia. She retired from Bendix Corporation as a supervisor.
    Mrs. Fowler is survived by her daughters, Jeanette F. Henderson and Theresa F. Miles; son, Billy Wayne Fowler; sisters, Gracie Watts, Delores Dix and Eula Mae Edwards; brother, Frank Arnette; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
    Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in Hampton, Virginia by Pastor Dan Hardesty.
     Interment in the Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, Virginia, was private.
