Estefay Sarvis Doyle Goforth: Loris

Estefay Sarvis Doyle Goforth of Loris, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19 at McLeod Loris hospital following an illness. She was 71.
Born on April 14, 1943 in Loris, she was the daughter of the late Estaline Doyle Parvin. Mrs. Doyle worked with Aberdeen Industries for over twenty years as well as in the home health care field for many years. Mrs. Goforth was of the Baptist faith but will be most remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Goforth is survived by her husband, Curtis Goforth, Sr. of Walnut Cove; two daughters, Carolyn Dean and husband, Joey and Debbie Rabon and husband, Rodney all of Loris; two sons, Roy Carl Doyle, Jr. and Roger Doyle and wife, Sandy all of Conway; two sisters, Joan Cox of Loris and Judy Pruitt of Gastonia; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a special cousin, Annie Rabon of Loris and a dear friend, Selma Bullins of Reidsville.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Goforth was predeceased by her first husband, Roy Carl Doyle, Sr.
Funeral services were held 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Floyd officiating. Committal services followed at Fox Branch Cemetery.
