Barry Glenn Norris: Chadbourn

    Barry Glenn Norris of Chadbourn died Wednesday, Feb. 25 in his home. He was 59.
     Born Feb. 8, 1956 in Columbus County, he was the son of Emma Jane Cartrette Norris and the late Everett Norris.  
    In addition to his mother, Emma Jane Cartrette Norris of Whiteville, he is survived by one daughter, Tamyka Lynn Batten and husband Delane of Cerro Gordo; two brothers, Marty Everett Norris of Clarendon, Jody Lee Griffin of Chadbourn; one sister, Emily Daryl Nobles of Whiteville; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Lane Batten and Jacoby Andrew Batten.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27  in Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.        
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, with burial following in Cribb Cemetery, Clarendon.
