William George Love: Loris

     William George Love of Loris passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18 at McLeod Loris hospital following an illness. He was 52.
    Born on Sept. 17, 1962 in Okinawa, Japan he was the son of the late Mr. George Love and the late Mrs. Mary Long Love.
    Mr. Love graduated from Conway High School where he won a Wrestling Scholarship. He then attended Coastal Carolina University before deciding to make his career in the golf industry.  A member of the PGA of America, he worked at several courses in the area.  Mr. Love made his last golf home at Black Bear Golf Club in Loris, SC, where he was an Assistant Golf Professional. Mr. Love was passionate about the game of golf, enjoyed the outdoors, music, good friends and family.
     He is survived by his wife, Angela Love of the home;  a daughter, Nicole Mills, of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Willie Bullard of Myrtle Beach; sister, Trena Love, of Myrtle Beach; nephew, Porter Cyr of Myrtle Beach; mother-in-law, Gladys Funderburk, of Loris; sister and brother-in-law, Jay and Marlene Hehnke of Garden City;  sister-in-law Kathy Willis of Lincolnton; brother-in-law, Randy Connor, of Pageland, and many nieces and nephews in the North and South Carolina’s area.
     A Memorial service was planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at Real Life Church, 701 65th Ave. North Myrtle Beach.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Willie Love Fundraiser, Conway National Bank, P.O. Box 1129, Little River, SC  29566.
