Paul Earl Rackley: Tabor City

    Paul Earl Rackley of Tabor City died Thursday, March 5, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter, Whiteville. He was 84.
    Born March 7, 1930 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Robert Charles Rackley and Ola Mae Perkins Rackley.
    He is survived by his wife, Beth Watts Rackley of the home; three sons, Garry Earl Rackley and wife Kaydell of Loris, Barry Chuck Rackley of Tabor City, Randy Rackley and wife Nannetta of Clarendon; a daughter, Ginger Rackley of Tabor City; a brother, Robert Wayne Rackley of Marion; two sisters, Bonnie Faye Anderson of Marion, Linda K. Harrel, of Marion; two grandchildren, Natalie Fowler and Bethany Hill; one great grandchild, Paisley Hill.
    He was a member of Jones St. Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Korean War.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, with burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City. Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the funeral home.
