Hilda Nance Ezzell: Whiteville

    Hilda Nance Ezzell of Whiteville went to be with her Lord and Saviour Tuesday, March 3 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Lifecare Center, Whiteville. She was 75.
    She was born May 21, 1939 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Charles Lee and Juanita Ward Nance. 
    She was the widow of the late Gene Ezzell and was preceded in death by a daughter, Jenifer Ezzell.
      She is survived by three daughters, Diane Gore of Clarendon, Lisa Shaw of Chadbourn, Susan Gladden of James Island; five grandchildren; a brother, Ronnie Nance of Lumberton; sisters, Lila Ransom of Whiteville, Sheila Farmer of Boone.
     Funeral services were held 3 p.m.Thursday, March 5 at Trinity Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Speight, Rev. Dave Crumpler, Rev. Dr. Danny Russell. Burial followed in Peacock’s Columbus Memorial Park.
