Carolyn Meredith Todd: Loris

    Carolyn Meredith Todd of Loris passed away Sunday, March 8 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston following an illness. She was 71.
    Mrs. Todd was born Oct. 10, 1943 in Anderson, a daughter of the late Mr. James Jesse Meredith and the late Mrs. Mary Hughes Meredith.
    Mrs. Todd worked with the public school system and as owner of Bonnie Bay Blueberry farm until her retirement. Mrs. Carolyn was a longtime member of Loris First United Methodist Church but will be most remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
     Survivors include her daughter, Frann Todd Waldorf and husband, Edward and four loving grandchildren, Todd Rivenbark, Whit Rivenbark, Emily Grace Todd and her mother, Jacquelyn Todd, and Carson Grainger.
     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Todd was predeceased by her husband, Albert Benjamin “Ben” Todd, Jr.; her son, Albert “Bert” Benjamin Todd, III; her brother, Robert Ray Meredith and her sister, Joann M. Moorhead.
     Funeral services were planned for 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 at Loris First United Methodist Church with Pastor Carl Harris and Reverend Dr. Steven M. Todd officiating. Committal services are to be private.
    The family planned to receive friends following the service at Mrs. Todd’s home.
